My sim cannot woohoo with NPC Romantic Interest

I don’t know why but my sim has developed a romantic interest with an npc in town, & i have invited the NPC to her home, & i’m trying to get them to woohoo on the bed but there is no woohoo button popping up.

I’ve tried selling & repurchasing the bed, same issue. But it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the playable sims, because the for the other Sim family I created, the mom & dad are still able to woohoo.

  • poppingmythik  Try reverting the W mod to default settings, and if that doesn't help, SP too.  I would suggest saving (use "save as" and change the name if you don't want to overwrite your progress), then quitting, deleting the cache files, and reloading before deciding that the resets don't work.

If your sim still can't woohoo with this inactive sim, try adding her to an inactive household, just as a test.  With NRaas MasterController installed, you can click the house itself and select NRaas > MC > Add Sim, then choose this sim from the list.  I'd run an MC reset on her afterwards just to be thorough.  This is a test too; you don't need to save your progress if it doesn't help, or if it does but you don't want her living wherever you added her.

  • poppingmythik  What romantic interactions, if any, do you see in the pie menu when you click the other sim?  Are you currently using NRaas StoryProgression, or another NRaas mod with the initial W?  (It technically can't be mentioned on this site.)  And who exactly is this NPC?  Please list their name as well as any service or role assignment: maid, repo man, bouncer, whatever.

puzzlezaddict When I click on “Romantic” on the pie menu, there is “Ask About Gender Preference”, "Amorous Hug", "Give Flowers". "Blow a Kiss", "Compliment Appearance", "Compliment Personality", "Consider Attractiveness", "Do You Want to Stay Over?", "Embrace", "Flirt", "Flirtatious Joke", "Whisper in Ear", "Take Romantic Photo Together", "Stroke Cheek", "Shy Kiss", "Propose Going Steady", "Make Out", "Leap into Arms", "Kiss", "Hold Hands", "Heat of the Moment Kiss", "Give Amazing Massage", and "Wink".

And yes, I am using NRass Story Progression and the Nrass mod that is named after the Sim term for copulating.

I think the NPC is just a randomly generated sim who happens to enter the modelling career in my game (from the modelling careers mod from Mod the Sims). Her name is Christy Thomas if it really matters.

A low-end fix could be something easier ... NPC Sims still have to be in a good mood. It helps to do things that improve mood, like a nice hot tub (hygiene and fun) and a good meal (use mood enhancing ingredients and they'll have hunger taken care). Nectar can improve moods and so on. They also cannot be overly tired, romancing too long can burn up your time, so start the date earlier and allow more time to set things up to better serve your endeavors.

    Happy Simming!
