My sims 3 won't work with 4 or more expantion packs.

Hi!

I recently bought 8 expansion packs for The Sims 3:

Seasons, Supernatural, Island Paradise, Into the Future, University Life, World Adventures, Showtime, and Pets.

The game launcher loads fine, but when I click "Play," absolutely nothing happens. However, when I enable only 3 expansions, the game launches normally.

I have tried every solution I could find online, including:

Downloading the Smooth PatchAlder Lake patch

Setting CPU affinity to CPU 0 / CPU 1 in Task Manager

Editing the RAM memory allocation value in the Sims3.ini file

Unfortunately, nothing works.

My PC Specs:

OS: Windows 11

RAM: 32 GB RAM

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (12 GB)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core Processor (3.90 GHz)

I would really appreciate any help!

    Hey julkapeel

I’ve moved your post from the Polish board to the English board so it’s in the right place and can reach more players who may have experienced the same issue.

Thanks for listing everything you’ve already tried. Since the game launches normally with up to three expansion packs but stops launching when more are enabled, there’s no point repeating those steps.

As a next step, please share your DxDiag with us. This will give us a better look at your current system configuration and any errors Windows may have recorded when The Sims 3 failed to launch.

Also, if possible, let us know whether the issue starts with any combination of four expansion packs, or only when a particular pack is enabled as the fourth one. This could help narrow things down considerably.
