My sims are stuck at the theatre

My inactive sims in Bridgeport I think (whichever one has all the high rises) no matter what I do, all of my in active sims are at the theater and are all dying of hunger... I have me sure all "autonomies" are on but it changes nothing… I have tried everything, and all of these sims are stuck in one place. As a result, the game has been very very slow, and people are dying left and right... I don't know what to do, I really need somebody's help
thank you

I did what you said, within 5 mins, they're all back... I've even removed the theater and they're still coming back to an empty lot totally neglected- they don't bathe, eat, sleep, go to work, nothing

Unfortunately that doesn't work either... It works briefly and then it goes back to the same thing. I don't know what to do anymore
