New MacBook Pro with no CD Drive.. can I download a copy of the Sims and use my original registration code without having to pay again?

I bought a new MacBook Pro a week ago and it doesn't have a CD drive, so I can't install the game! Is it possible for me to have a download of the game (since I already own a physical copy, and have ...

They are bringing Origin to Macs soon (no ETA though).

I'm not sure if you can redeem the serial code at https://gametreemac.com/ in the meantime.

You could also get an external drive to install from there. I did that with my notebook. You really only need the DVD to start the game afterwards.
