Sorry guys I just got caught up in this thread and Crinrict's thread. I absolutely had to get some sleep last night. I still don't have enough information. I did notice the Cumulative Patch / Super Patch thread is now "hidden" in Technical. But there is also a new thread locked in General Discussion by SimGuruRusskii
here and at the top of this forum.
After reading that I am still confused. Is it just simmers with digital download of the EP having issues? And why is it some are able to patch via the launcher and some aren't? Then there a those that previously patch that can't login but some can? Some have EP7 content/interaction/CAS stuff, etc. and some only have interactions, some have nothing.
Can you all state whether or not you patched prior to or after the time SGR stated. And also post if you used the super patcher or you patched via the launcher? Can you all reboot your computers/laptops and clear your browser history/cache/temp/cookies/java-runtime specifically in IE, to see "if" you get the option to install the patch via the launcher. There is also an Origin update (Version 8.5.0.4554 - 144681). I still don't have enough information to be honest. Everything I'm seeing posted is conflicting. :?
ETA: For Mac users with Showtime.
Nich did update his post for patching to 1.32 here. However, that was done on 3/9/12 prior to the time SGR's thread was created, so I don't know if there are issues with these patches or not. Though the links do work, I still recommend patching through the launcher (if possible) at the moment.
