If you are at 1.31 and you have the update in the launcher for 1.32 you should be okay to install. I had someone do this last night and they are fine. It's the super patcher that caused issues. So if you have the prompt in the launcher go for it. If you have mods, etc... make sure to remove all that stuff first.
