Then he opened the launcher and ran the game without updating still.
The game ran fine, without crashing. The sims interacted with each other and objects just fine. Then he quit and saved and left (it's 11pm here). So, now I am downloading Late Night via origin. I will install the update if it requires me to (in order to install) and then do all the same things he did. Cross your fingers for me. :wink:
Ahhh good! Fingers and toes crossed. :P
ETA: I only add the Sims3Launcher.exe for the last installed EP or SP which in my case is Master Suite (see below). For you that would be Showtime. Reason being you always start the game with the latest released EP or SP.
