No Download Button on Origin on Mac

Has anyone bought the Sims 3 and it's EPs from Steam and redeemed the key codes on Origin?

I have a problem with having no download button on Origin on Mac to download DLC for the Sims 3. The base game and some of the dlc has a download button but some don't. They say "Unlocked" but there is no way to download them. The only thing that the DLCs that have no download button have in common is that they were purchased after my EA account was created. I contacted EA, they say ever thing is fine, but people online say otherwise. Please help!

@thekinghogarth  Okay, let me clarify a couple things.  First, you're absolutely correct that you can redeem your Sims 3 Steam keys in Origin and have access to both the Windows and the Mac versions of Sims 3 in Origin.  This is what I've done, as well as many others, so I know it works in practice as well s in theory.

The issue here is likely that your account didn't receive the "entitlements," as they're called, for the 64-bit versions of the packs you can't download.  This was a problem when the 64-bit version was released in October 2020 and continues to show up periodically.  But it's simple for a support rep to add those entitlements, that is if the rep understand what the issue is.  If you want to show the support rep what you mean, feel free to link this very long thread; the important info is in the first post:

And again, none of this has anything to do with where you bought your Sims 3 content.  As long as the product keys are valid, you should have access to the content in macOS.
