Ive grown a sim up from toddler to child and when I looked under her career panel it says that there is no school in the town I'm playing. I went into Edit Town but there is no school on the map or in my Community Lots archive. I dont think there has ever actually been one otherwise I would have noticed it disappear. Is there any solution for this?!
What town are you playing ? An EA world ?
Schools are rabbitholes and you find them if you build on a community lot in the build mode. You can place them on any lot you like that is big enough.
To use an existing EA made school lot, start a world that has one and save the lot with the school to your library. Then go back to your game and place it there.
Im playing Sunset Valley. I cant start a world that has a school as Sunset Valley is the only world on my version of Sims 3.
Ive tried to start a new game of Sunset Valley but theres no school when Im re-loading it either.
Ive tried to build on a community lot in the build mode but the only lot thats showing up in my library is a park. When i try to convert a lot to a community lot it gives me the options of "no visitors" "hang out spot" "park" ect... but there is not a school option for that either!

Sunset Valley should have a school. Its next to the big park. Do you not have that lot ? The lot itself does not show as school cause it's the rabbit hole that you build on the lot that defines it as school.
