Origin won't download Sims 3

I'm experiencing issues with downloading Sims 3 onto my new laptop and since it doesn't have a CD drive I'm attempting to download it via origin, and failing. I have the Sims 3 base game and multiple games installed on my computer but when I open my origin it shows only two of my extensions and Sims 4, no base game. So I thought I had to go through the system of adding the game, which I tried to do through redeeming the code that is in the box, only it will not allow me to download it (error message: This code has already been used). At one point it redirected me somewhere like the Sim store, where it told me I had successfully redeemed it but it hasn't appeared in my origin. I can access my old computer where the games were originally installed, if if helps/if that's what I need to use to fix the issue. Thank you to anyone who can help. 😳
