That patch is here and there are actually lots of fixes. The manual Patch can be downloaded here: Patch 1.29 (850 MB) I myself will not continue to compile this thread. See page 119 for details....

The Partner/Owner Memory glitch is still not fixed. The memory notification still states the incorrect Sim rather than the Sim that was told to become a partner.

I have installed the 1.26 update and will soon install Pets when the game arrives Tuesday.
