Pets Bug Thread
That patch is here and there are actually lots of fixes. The manual Patch can be downloaded here: Patch 1.29 (850 MB) I myself will not continue to compile this thread. See page 119 for details....

Age Sliders have been adjusted to a new setting with this patch to give a relative default to pets. The new settings are close to half of what they were originally.
This doesn't seem to be a bug, just a change in settings... I have been trying with numerous things to see if it effects or is that affects? (I did get much sleep last night   )
Nothing is happening that shouldn't be :)
When I did it, the ages in the options menu were at the old setting, but all the plumbobs on the slides were at their "max" setting. The numbers matched, but everything was pushed to the right. I then did a quick toggle between Normal and Long.
Normal is now 45 Days long instead of 90 Days. Epic used to be close to 900 Days, but now sits somewhere around 450.
What I find strange, but also comforting, is that as long as you don't confirm the changes in the Options screen, the game's aging mechanics will stay the same. I'm too hesitant to press OK to see if the kids start aging after 15 days. That, and I don't like the idea of playing on EPIC just to maintain my 300 Day average life span.
