Pets Bug Thread
That patch is here and there are actually lots of fixes. The manual Patch can be downloaded here: Patch 1.29 (850 MB) I myself will not continue to compile this thread. See page 119 for details....

Just posting some of the "big" bugs I found...
I also would like to confirm that I do have the Hunting Skill bug, but have not uninstalled the Spellbook on principle (EA should have not made this DLC be so buggy even if I am using it only to summon Sims) and because of reports I've read where even after uninstalling it, Hunting doesn't work. I'll be deleting my cache tomorrow and trying again.
Incidentally, the Spiral Staircase bug I had before I installed Pets is gone. Everything works now.
- Selecting Wallpaper/Wall Textures saved in Collection Folders negates the ability to pick either single tile or all tiles when placing on surfaces. This also applies for floor tiles. Best not save any of either to the Collections Folders. (Build/Buy Mode glitch)
- Burgler appeared immediately after commanding dog to Guard House. Burgler still stole stuff despite being spoted. Aren't they suppose to run away if they are spotted? I remember seeing that happen before. (Gameplay) [NOTE: I'm chalking the Burgler Summon to random luck, as I've tried to duplicate this with no success. The issue being reported is the Burgler still robbing a house after being caught by the homeowners.)
- "Mark as favorite Sleeping Spot" doesn't work. Pets sleep wherever they can. Priority goes to shelters, then beds, then the floor. "Mark as favorite" should take top priority, but doesn't.
-->Apparently, horses suffer the same issue. Priority should go to the Box Pen before falling asleep where they stand.
