Question Regarding Sim Eye Color Problem

Hey, sorry in advance if this topic was talked about before or if this is the wrong area to post about it, I'm new to this forum ^^"

- - -

When in CAS, I've noticed that when I put on an eyecolor for my sim there's a white outline of some sort around the eye color. It's extremely noticeable and it's bothering me but I'm not sure what the cause of it is.

I do have CC downloaded but not a lot. I'm hoping it isn't the CC since I've used these eye colors before and this problem has never happened.

Edit: Some eye colors don't have the white outline, but majority of them do.

  • @YJgg7  That's almost certainly a cc issue.  You can get rid of your custom eye colors entirely, or you can remove them and then add them back in batches, testing each time to see whether the issue is still there.  While testing, be sure to delete the five cache files in your TS3 game folder in Documents each time you quit.  For reference, they are:

    • CASPartCache.package
    • compositorCache.package
    • scriptCache.package
    • simCompositorCache.package
    • socialCache.package

If the eye colors aren't the cause, then it may be some other cc you've installed.  The same principle as above applies: remove everything and test in batches to see when the issue reappears.

By the way, you can always tweak your sims' eye colors manually, no cc needed.  Just use the color wheel and pick what you like.

Darn, I knew it was the CC I just hoped it wasn't. ☹️ I do know that customizing the eye color via color wheel was possible, I just really liked the different styles that the CC gave. As you suggested I'll clean the broken ones and just keep the working ones. I do appreciate the help, thank you so much!
