@szdorka The first thing that comes to mind is a memory issue and virtual memory. TS3 is a 32 bit application and can't access more then 4Gb of memory and in reality the game uses about 2Gb of memory do to the compilers used. If your computer is a pc please post your computer's dxdiag - link - how to post your computer's dxdiag thank you

@szdorka Is there a reason you have the system partition at 98.6Gb? That is way too small. Is there a reason the drive is partitioned the way it is? 26.8 free space on the system drive is way too small. Why do you have a red WD drive that is 5400 rpm when you should have a 7200 rpm drive for a gaming computer. There are programs that can repartition a drive and enlarge the system partition. This is not without possible issues and most of the time the procedure works but.... I would recommend getting a new drive and image the existing drive to the new drive THEN try to repartition the new drive. If things go south you can always reinstall the original drive and your back where you started with not loss of data. You need to get some advise on how to properly setup your computer because as free space gets lower eventually you may have computer crashes and even operating system corruption where you'll have to regen the computer from scratch.

I can easy move more space for system.
Anyways it should be a gamer laptop but vga is pretty weak, and Sim3 is the only game I play sometimes. - roberta5918 years agoHero (Retired)
@szdorka The sims 3 is a 3D graphical game and the graphics depending on what expansion packs you have the graphics can get very demanding. This game is not linear in game play and the fact that there are expansion packs means this game will require more disk space for the user data on the system storage device as you add expansion packs. In many aspects this game is more demanding of your computer system then other 3D graphical games so the fact that you only play The Sims 3 means you picked a very demanding game on your computer hardware. The issue is your system device is not very big to begin with and you will have to constantly move data off the system device. There are advanced techniques can can help but as a casual user this will only delay the inevitable. hth
