Reason for lower rpm was, when i bought my laptop I had a stronger hdd, what burned down. No reason, nothing else was ruined. I bought a 7200rpm 2tb hdd but it did not fit in, and only possibility was 5400rpm one. I could not buy faster anywhere.
I can easy move more space for system.
Anyways it should be a gamer laptop but vga is pretty weak, and Sim3 is the only game I play sometimes.

@szdorka The sims 3 is a 3D graphical game and the graphics depending on what expansion packs you have the graphics can get very demanding. This game is not linear in game play and the fact that there are expansion packs means this game will require more disk space for the user data on the system storage device as you add expansion packs. In many aspects this game is more demanding of your computer system then other 3D graphical games so the fact that you only play The Sims 3 means you picked a very demanding game on your computer hardware. The issue is your system device is not very big to begin with and you will have to constantly move data off the system device. There are advanced techniques can can help but as a casual user this will only delay the inevitable. hth
