Moving the folders from one computer to another is not enough for them to work, as there's other places where information is created when you install the games. For example, Windows has a place where it stores a list with information about the programs installed in the computer (Windows Registry), and as this is missing in the new computer, the games are not properly installed.

Feel free to move the folders back to your old computer, as right now they are only taking free space. You want to keep 'The Sims 3' folder in Documents \ Electronic Arts, as that one stores your daughter's save games, she will be happy to have her Sims still there when we manage to make the game work 😉

So let's go a step back and try to install the games through Origin, ok? Could you try to redeem your game codes in Origin? When you try that, are you getting a message letting you know the codes were already used? If so, that means the games were already registered in another EA Account.

You could log in with that account and download and install the games using Origin.
