EA Advisors not giving me 64-bit?

Hi, I've played Sims 3 for many years, but I have always done it on an older mac, I recently changed to a newer one, and this one therefore can't play 32-bit games. I have Sims 3 in my EA library, but only the 32-bit version, and it of course just crashes immediately when trying to run it.

I have been messaging EA Support for a while now, and have talked to multiple of their advisors, they have all said "I did everything on my end now" and other stuff like that, but have made no actual changes. My last conversation with one, he finished with saying he would file a bug report for the game, but still nothing has changed. Does anyone have any clue how to have them give me the 64-bit version? It kind of seems like they themselves don't even know how to.

Thank you! :))

If you didn't change anything, load the game to the Main Menu and either enable or disable Advanced Rendering, whichever option you're not currently using.  (As in, flip the setting.)  I've seen a few people report that they need to have it enabled in CAS and disabled in live mode, or vice versa, for reasons unknown.  The household you created should be available in the in-game bin, provided you did fully exit CAS; you can click Move In Household to see it.  So you don't need to go back to CAS this time.
