I dont get any errors but it get stick on 22% when I try and install it though origin
@MandyLovesPink35 Please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin:
- Quit Origin, then right-click on the Task Bar and open the Task Manager. Scroll through looking for Origin entries. If you find any, click on them and End Task.
- Clear Origin's cache.
- Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
- Launch Revo, select Origin from the list, and click Uninstall.
- When it finishes uninstalling, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
- If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
- Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders." Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder, if you have any other Origin games installed. (This is where those games are located by default.) Delete the rest.
- Close Revo, and restart your computer.
Next, download the full Origin installer and run it. Here's the direct download link:
http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator."
When installing Sims 3, try just the base game first, no packs.

I did reinstall Origin and did all that
@MandyLovesPink35 I understand you reinstalled Origin, but did you do a clean uninstall, as described? The regular uninstall process leaves behind a number of files that might interfere with a subsequent download.
If the clean uninstall and reinstall doesn't help, please clear Origin's cache (as linked in my previous post) and then change the install location for Sims 3. You can create a new folder within Program Files (x86) if you want; just don't use Origin Games.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I cant do a dxdiag my laptop is differnt from the picture
@MandyLovesPink35 Do you have a Mac, or just a Windows setup that looks different than the screenshot? If you have a Windows PC, you don't need to worry about how things look: click Windows key-R, write "dxdiag" without quotes, Enter, wait for the scan to finish, and click Save All Information. The function is built into all recent versions of Windows, even ones too old to run Origin.
If you have a Mac, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen and select About This Mac; a window with your computer's basic info will pop up. To take a screenshot of it, click command-shift-4 and drag your cursor over the pop-up, cropping out the serial number below the other info. Then click the Storage button and take a screenshot of that. The screenshots will land on your desktop. You can attach both to a reply here by clicking the Browse button next to the paper clip icon.

@MandyLovesPink35 Then your Acer runs Windows, and you can run a dxdiag. Please do so and attach it to a post.

No I cant all i see is System display sound input in my dxdiag. so try again and stop telling me to do that
@MandyLovesPink35 Please post a screenshot of what you see. Again, the dxdiag function is built into Windows and has worked more or less the same way for a very long time. If it's not working that way for you, I need to see exactly how.

now I am starting to get this message unable to start game service initalization failed and I dont know why everything is new from my sims 3 folder and I reinstall everyting
@MandyLovesPink35 Did you ever have Sims 3 installed on this computer before, and if so, what method did you use to install it: Origin, discs, or Steam? I also really do need a dxdiag. Again, if you're not seeing the layout I've described, please post a screenshot.

Origin and the last time I CANT DO A dxdiag SO * OFF WITH THAT
- MandyLovesPink355 years agoRising Traveler
SEEE CANT DO IT
The only difference with the DxDiag between your system and the guide @puzzlezaddict posted is that you don't have to click "Run 64bit DxDiag" anymore, the data is collected at start.
So, wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all Information" > Save the "DxDiag.txt" file to your desktop and load it up here like puzzle's guide suggested.
Two things:
a.) It would be nice if you also anwser the questions @puzzlezaddict asked. This questions are important for the troubleshooting processes.
b.) it would also be nice if you could curb your temper a little bit. Puzzle knows what she is doing and she is also a voluntarist that tries to help you in her free time.

stop asking me to a DxDiag I cant do it for the last time
I just explained to you how you can do it, and I know that it works.
So that leads to the conclusion that you don't want to do it, and that is fine of course, we just can't help you then because we need info about your system to be able to help you.
Have a nice day. 🙂

there you go and now leave me alone about it
@MandyLovesPink35 The driver for your Nvidia graphics card is over a decade old, and a component of the Nvidia Control Panel is crashing. You can get the last driver released for your graphics card here:
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/87987/en-us
Please read the instructions carefully before installing.
And again, I need to know whether you've ever installed Sims 3 on this computer before, and if so, how. The service initialization error is most often caused by leftover registry entries from a previous install; the normal uninstall process does not remove these entries. If you're not interested in providing this information, you can of course look into cleaning your computer's registry yourself, either manually or with a tool like Piriform's CCleaner. But you'll want to leave the registry entries for the current install intact, or else uninstall the game, clean the registry, and reinstall.
As an example, you can find instructions for removing stray registry entries in this EA help article, under some spoilers:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-3/manually-uninstalling-the-sims-3/
Again, please read the instructions carefully before deleting anything.
I probably won't have time to answer again until tomorrow, so if you're still stuck then, feel free to post back.
