Where are you attempting to buy the game from? Origin? Also, what makes you think the game is in English? Does it say English only? Is it a digital or a physical copy that you are trying to purchase?
Be assured that, when you install a Sims game on your PC, you can still pick the language, and by default it will install in French in your case.
