@pinkswirl1342 Go into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and remove the file labeled options.ini. It might be corrupted and not saving your settings. The graphics card message is also normal with a new copy of options.ini, or one that doesn't record the fact it already warned you about the unrecognized graphics card. I can help you get it recognized if you want; just let me know. But deal with the resetting options file first.

Thank you very much. I had the same problem, the game would reset the seetings every time. I removed the "options" file and that seemed to resolve the problem.
