you don't have to get the visa if you just want to send a sim  for a visit to China France or Egypt normal stay is 3 sim days you use the phone to or pc to travel under the real estate/travel options  to send the sim off to China France or Egypt to get a visa levels in order to stay longer and finally buy a holiday home in all  the countries your sim needs to do quests which you find on the adventure board and or your sim will get phone call for a quest be aware if accept the quests because of some of the things the sim needs to do the athletic skill will kick in the more quests the sim does for example in china he/she will finally get to visa level 1 then 2 then 3  once at level 3 you can buy a certificate of partnership with China from the special merchant you can then buy a holiday home there the same for France and Egypt

there are lifetime rewards you can buy with the happy points one off hand is prepared traveler gives your sim three free days in each travel destination with this reward so when you book the trip you can slide the trip bar to 6 days instead of the standard 3 sim days
