In the new game all opportunities are working - hooray! 🙂 so I presume it is savegame related.
Just out of curiosity (and if you have time to answer!), what do you have to do if it is a corruption on the whole game?

First thing to try is to let the game recreate new user files. That solves a lot (I refer to that as factory reset) and if all fails, reinstall the game but errors like yours would surprise me if they need a reinstall.
Could you please accept a solution so people see that this is solved.
