Re: Problem with Not Responding

Then just skip those.

If renaming the folder didn't help your issue though I don't think this is the solution we're looking for.

Can you post your DxDiag for me: You don't need to post the whole thing but make sure to include everything up and with the graphic card section

To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:

If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.

If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:

1. Click On Start
2 Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Click Save All Information.

Here's info on XP: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Answer-HQ-Help/What-s-XP-and-how-does-it-work/m-p/6990#U6990

If you saved all info, you can paste it in here. You can delete everything that come after sound devices

The most important parts are the (everything that comes after those titles before the next one). I can't really read the rest anyways.

    Is that enough?

Your graphic chip is below specs. You should have at least 128 MB of dedicated memory, you have only 64. Other than that, your specs are ok but not great. Your processor is on the low side, RAM is fine.

Try if tuning down the graphic options do anything for you.

Turning down the graphics in the game or on the computer itself? If you mean the computer how do I do that? One thing I don't understand is everything was fine with the base game until the 1.38 patch. When I installed that that's when I started having problems and Supernatural just made it worse. Not sure if I've mentioned that before or not.

Every patch adds new stuff (whether you buy the EP or not) so if you are below specs, it can happen that it's not working anymore.

    Graphic options in the game.

Ok. Thanks. I know how to do the graphic options in the game. I'll let you know if that helps. Thanks again for your help and patience.

I've got all of the setting as low as they will go and it still is a little laggy and stuff but I can see a small difference in performance. It's a little less frustrating. Unless you have any other options (aside from getting a new computer--this one is new), I'll consider this solved. Thanks again for your patience and help.

I fixed it. I accidentally fixed. I did a system restore thing on it and everything is working great. I had to reinstall Supernatural but everything is good. Thanks for the help.

Thanks again for your patience and help. Who would have thought an accident solved my issues...as of right now.
