i have been having the same problem. i am panicking because i don't know what else to do to get sims 3 working. i am gonna be really mad if they don't fix it soon so that windows 10 can run sims 3.

Did you try right clicking on the ts3 file and selecting troubleshoot compatibility and try the windows 8 mode? to get to said file right click on sims 3 icon, choose open folder location and scroll down to ts3 file. You probably know that but just in case you don't or someone else does not that reads this. Good luck.

Sadly, we might have to wait until EA launches a new update to have The Sims 3 compatible with Windows 10. I asked EA and they said they might come out with an update because even other EA games don't work. We have to be patient ☹️

@nayelivargas1 if you look in the first post, you will see that Sims 3 can be run in compatibility mode.
