Re: Redeemed Sims 3 codes but wont download as says only available on windows?

I redeemed a code for the Sims 3 on Mac (running Sonoma) and I am getting the following error when clicking on the Sims 3 Installer: "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information". I heard there is a 64-bit version of the game out there somewhere, but I don't know how to get to it, as the code I have has already been redeemed. Any advice?

  • @MOHULS  It sounds like you're trying to install the 32-bit version of Sims 3, which shouldn't even be available in the EA App.  Are you usnig the App, or are you somehow still running Origin?

    At any rate, the answer to your question is that you'll need to contact EA customer support and ask that the "entitlement," as it's called, for the 64-bit version be added to your account.  I've merged your post with the master thread for entitlements issues, even though most people get a different error, as the fix is the same.  Please see the accepted solution on page one for more information, and feel free to link this thread to the customer support rep if necessary.
