aodoherty I don't think I've ever tried. To be clear though, can you choose one of the three default swatches without problems, or does that not work either? And what do you mean that you can't change anything—that the board doesn't change, or that it locks up your game, or what?

Yep the first picture is the 2nd swatch, and the 2nd picture is the 3rd one. The [remade swatches are ruined. After choosing those 2 swatches, it still looks ruined if I choose the 1st default one.
aodoherty I didn't have that problem just now. This is starting a new save, with no custom content and a few NRaas mods, and jumping from the setup screen to Edit Town in the homeworld to Edit Town in the University world, And I did this on my Mac, since that's what I have with me right now. So it might not be a one-to-one comparison:
Since this worked for me though, please try editing a different lot, and if that has the same issue, a different save. You can go through Edit Town as I did if you don't want to play through the process of enrolling your sim in university.
I was also wondering whether the board is burned in general, like from fire or lightning. In that case, you might need to buy a new one. It should be in BuyDebug.

Hi, I also had no problem with the pre built dormitory. The issue happens with the newly generated one when I'm trying to make a new dormitory on an empty lot. I tested this in a new fresh sims 3 folder. (without mods and ccs). Could you tell me how to post the video like yours? so I just got a link from my youtube. If youtube link isn't allowed, please let me know
University job baord syling issue
aodoherty I tested on a new lot and saw what you do: the previews for the default swatches look burned, or somehow broken, and I could only get back to the original version by undoing the changes. I have no idea why this would be the case.
I thought that a way around this would be to save an already-existing dorm to the bin, place it elsewhere, and edit it from there, but the saved dorms seem to place without the job board at all. Maybe one would spawn eventually, but I didn't see one when I first went to load the lot in Build/Buy. Also, my game crashed twice when trying to load the lot, which is probably not connected but definitely odd.
You might have more luck than I did though—maybe the job board will save properly on your lots, or saving/quitting/reloading will restore the proper version. I didn't have the patience to test as extensively as I might normally, with all those loading screens and it being after midnight here.
If none of that works out, you can try placing the board using this mod:

You'd still get the default board; the point is that you can place it as you want rather than it appearing on its own (or not). I don't know whether this would help, but it's easy to try, and the modder is reliable.
As for the video question, I dragged and dropped mine, having saved it to my desktop. When you do that with a video or image, it shows up inline. I think there's a size limit for uploads, maybe 100 MB. If you want to link a YouTube video instead (or any image or video from the web), click the Camera (Insert Media) icon, choose Video URL, and add the URL. Here's your video using that button:

Thank you for all your hard work! Actually I had the same glitch with WA boards also. so I wasn't able to style them. Thanks for the useful link. I tried to replace the dorm but no luck.
Oh..and the tip for the video, Thank you :D I can try 'drag and drop' next time. Also thanks for the youtube tip.
