Re: Redem code sims3

@lostman4  Are you saying Origin also added the Sims 3 base game, despite your not registering it?  You wouldn't be able to play with any packs unless you also owned the base game, so you had to have it this whole time.  If you don't remember buying it, perhaps your CD Keys product code was for a bundle (base game plus Into the Future).  Or, if you have an EA Play subscription, you could have added the base game for free.

Anyway, if you're not missing content, you don't need to worry about it.

@puzzlezaddict Well, I mean, I bought The Sims 3 into the future without having a game base on my account. And when I add game origin, add the Sims 3's game base, is this normal? Or is it a bug?

@lostman4  It's not normal at all to have the base game added, and it's not supposed to happen.  But again, you might have bought a product that did include the base game even if it was advertised as including only Into the Future.

If you're curious, open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Game Properties.  You should see a CD key for the base game, which is not the CD key for any packs you own.  If that key is the same as the one you registered, you received a bundle.  If the key is different or you don't see a key at all, then maybe it's a glitch in the system.
