Re: sims 3 64 bits not working
@maryamm7221 Please make sure you're deleting the correct Version.tag file, not a copy in iCloud. Open a Finder window and click Macintosh HD in the left panel, then open Users > your username > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. If you don't see Macintosh HD, click Finder in the upper-left corner of the screen and select Preferences > Sidebar, then check the box next to hard disks.
If this doesn't help, please let me know whether there's a Sims 3 folder at all in the file path above, and if there is, move it to the desktop (or just rename it) and try to play again.
