Is the game asking to be registered or activated? If you have the digital download version there may be a problem with activation. It has been said that SecuROM periodically reactivates. Do you have any expansion packs, it may be any of those asking to be reactivated. Normally SecuROM is behaved but if you change something in your computer or you activate another computer, SecuROM may ask for a reactivation. Normally the game is activated the first time the game/pack is run but as I said there are times it may require re activation.
