I have a huge problem. I bought the sims 3 with many expansion packs years ago and I used to play it on a different computer than I have now. In my new laptop there's no CD entry so I tried to enter the code to origin to install it from there. It shows me that the code has been used and I've never played it on origin so I have no idea why it's not working. Is there anything I can do about it?
@ola4890 Did you ever register your game and packs on the old Sims 3 site ( www.thesims3.com or store.thesims3.com )? If so, that's probably why the codes read as used: that site and Origin share information. Just login to Origin with the same username and password you used back then, and you should find your content already in your game library. If you're not sure what that email might have been, just enter any you can think of into Origin's sign in window and click "Forgot your password?" Any address associated with an Origin account will receive a password recovery email.
Otherwise, your two options are to buy an external disc drive, which would be pretty cheap; or to contact EA customer support and hope someone can help you figure out what happened to your product keys.
