- @Reeny1973 I had the same problem, but today I could solve it: I bought for Island Living a redeem code from an online store (the cheapest I could find - for 7€ - and when I opened the ea app, I inserted the code I've received from this shop. And suddenly the app started to install all packs available. I was absolutely happy about this. I really hope I could help you!
Just out of curiosity, was Island Living the (only) pack that was causing problems for you? For me that would be into the future, but I'm a bit reluctant to purchase it again, even if I could get it cheaper at one of those key shops, but if this works and you can run the game from the ea app and install the worlds and sims3 store items (I believe those are problems too) I may give this a try myself, even when I think EA shouldn't force me to make extra costs, but waiting for their solution is taking too long.

@RadioMan71 For me it is only Island Paradise that won't download, I have all the Expansion packs that i bought throug origin and i have the 3 first ones on disc because i bought them in a store. Into the future was the only one missing from my collection and i bought that one not so long ago in the EA app. Maybe that is why i don't have a problem with it. I think it is ridiculous that you should buy a new one. I am not going to do that, i allready paid for it and i have all the order confirmations of everything i bought through Origin and the EA app. I have all the packs from Sims 3 and almost everything from Sims 4 which cost me a fortune. In my opinion EA has to fix this soon without having us to buy it again. BTW i am not an native Engish speaker so my apologies for any mistakes i made.
@Zilverwolf2 Same here, I almost got all the expansion packs from sims3, except the Katy Perry ones but you can no longer get them anyway and I bought a bunch of stuff in the sims3 store too. And I own almost all packs for Sims4 too, but I still prefer to play sims3 instead of sims4, which in my opinion may have better graphics, but it's still a downgrade from sims3. And I own everything from sims 1 and 2, but I think it's been more than 5 years that I played sims2 and even longer for sims1. But yeah I don't really want to purchase any of the packs again, even when right now it got worse and I can't even install the base game anymore, let alone the expansions.
But since an EA employee commented here again I have faith again that there will be a solution coming. And I think you're dutch judging by your name, same as me, but your english is good enough 😉

@RadioMan71 Yes, that's correct. I am Dutch too. I know, i have sims 1 on disc. Unfortunately i didn't get the chance to play Sims 2. I play both Sims 3 and Sims 4. I go back and forth but my computer broke down a while ago. and i had to install everything again. I also bought a lot from the sims 3 store. I read that an EA Employee contacted you. Yes, there may indeed be hope for us all that this get fixed. I miss Island Paradise, since it was my favourite world. Fingers crossed then, that EA is going to solve it soon And we all can enjoy Sims 3 again.
