Re: Sims 3 Supernatural - lifetime wish unaccessible because no alchemy career

poor sims , you won't find the plasma fruit as that came with late night (you do not have to buy an expansion pack if you do not want to i don't want you to feel that you have to or must do that ) if you do have late night expansion pack then send the sim to the grocery/supermarket to buy one

i know it can be annoying when something is not going to be completed to fulfill a lifetime wish , ive had to on occasion change the lifetime wish for a sim just because i didn't have whatever pack was needed or one simply did not work , i won't let that spoil my fun 🙂

did you during business hours from about 9am from map view click on city hall-register as self employed-alchemist...does that option not show up?

    Ah, so I don't need Seasons but Late Night... but still another Expansion pack to Supernatural. Why do the wishes (with just Base Game + Supernatural installed) for plasma fruit just pop up without Late Night? Hardly makes sense.

    Also, the option for registering into the alchemy career doesn't show up, even not when the should have buisiness hours. ☹️

    It is annoying that I have to waste lifetime points to alter a wish for an alchemy career into something else. Why does the wish even pop up, when I can't reach it in the game? That spoils a lot of fun.

    But still, thanks for trying to help me!

    i think what may have happened is when supernatural was released a patch was released for it which gives us the ability to create vampires in the game

    prior to that you had to have late night to have vampires

    i loaded up my game the other night to see if my sim could join the alchemy career he could BUT i may have had that option because i do have ambitions

    i agree with you about having to waste points just because, however what i would do is this when i launch my game save that game for later on then save as new name then change the lifetime wish the reason i say that is if you see a sale for a particular pack you want then you will have the original save to pick up where you left off if you see what i mean

    wait a second just thought the sim should only need to max the skill lvl 10 and throw potions at 50 sims try that ( i will too and let you know a.s.a.p. launching my game now to see

    edit edit i had a look through some saves i have backed up as i knew i had one with the alchemy artisan wish just never got around to completing it as

    i hadve loaded it up that sim had the alchemy artisan  lifetime wish and i have just completed it it was master alchemy level 10 and throw potions at 50 other sims

    i had 35 friendship potions so i used those up each one counts towards the throw elixer at sims and threw 15 other potions at sims

    i accidently had my sim used one on himself  😕mileyembarrassed: it counted in the throw potions at 50 sims 😕mileyvery-happy:  his  lifetime wish  is completed 🙂

    Thank you, I will try this. Hopefully it works even without the Ambitions pack.

    The lifetime wish has been changed from lv 10 alchemy skill + lv 10 alchemy career to lv 10 alchemy skill + use 50 potions. So now it is possible to reach the lifetime wish.

    Although the lifetime wish is now working, I still find it very unpleasing, that you still need 2 expantion packs (Ambitions+Supernatural) to lead an alchemy career. Nor with Ambitions alone nor with Supernatural alone you can be alchemist.

    i am pleased you have some sort of solution to the issue, i do have all of the packs most of them where presents thanks to my friend but having said that with even having the packs some careers at least 3 i can think of  are borked and another wish i tried to fulfill just would not complete i tried about 5 diffiernt ways to fulfull it but had to let it go
