it sayss 1.42 but i need a different version in order for the downloaded world to work any ideas? :/

1.5 = 1.05 < 1.42
You're version is newer then the required one and you're up-to-date
Question: Do you mean the 1.5 it says on the webpage or have you actually tried downloading ? The webpage does not check what version you have installed. It's just an info what you need.
