@1691e80d8c4ca9d2  Have you installed via disc, Steam, or EA App?  If disc, please try running the Super Patch to manually patch the game.  The launcher doesn't always do a thorough job of patching, and neither do the discs.  Here's the direct download link for the Super Patch; your browser may flag it as dangerous, but it's safe as it points directly to EA servers.

If you've installed via Steam or the EA App, do NOT run the Super Patch, as it will either do nothing or break the install.

Either way, please also post a screenshot of the error.

    I have the Sims 3 based game installed and it runs fine, I can't get mods to work though or downloads to install and show up in the game; Also I installed Pets, Supernatural, but they did not appear on the launcher. Thanks for your interest but I will leave it alone and play it as is.  I have other computers that I can play the Sims on.  I have all expansion and stuff packs on a Win 10 computer that runs the game fine.  Thank you again,  Robert  AKA: number1son
