only some tips that may or may not work you could try the cheat i would just for testing purposes  when i launch the game in the country i'mm in would do a save as new name thus to keep the original save untouched and can mess around with the cheat

1ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type in testingcheatsenabled true in the cheat box.
2 click and hold shift anywhere on the base camp and click on build on this lot.
3 delete the adventure board.
4 turn cheat off  ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen  type in  testingcheatsenabled false
5 return home, and then go back to where ever you were
