Re: The Sims 3: Late Night

If you purchased the Late Night expansion pack it should be available in the "My Games" tab of Origin.

I'm copying/pasting the following "solution" I found on this topic from this link (http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/I-bought-a-game-but-it-does-not-show-up-in-Origin/m-p/54908#M951):

If your newly purchased game is not showing up in your games list when you log into your Origin tool, it doesn't mean you haven't purchased the rights to download it. It just means that your order is still processing.

  1. Verify that your payment has successfully processed by going to http://origin.com/ and clicking the Customer Service link at the top of the page.
  2. You should then be directed to the Store Support page where you should be able to click on the "View recent order history and purchase details" link, under the Order Details header.
  3. If you are not logged in already, you will be prompted to do so. Once your payment has processed, your items will be visible here.

NOTE: If you have verified that your purchase has actually gone through and processed, but still aren't able to see your games in Origin, please follow the steps below.

  1. First, try clicking on the Origin menu at the top left of the Origin client. This should activate the drop down menu where you should then select the "Reload My Games" option.
  2. If this does not work, try logging out of Origin, and log back in. This is another way of 'refreshing' the games in your Origin.
  3. Last, but not least, Uninstalling and Reinstalling Origin is the final step you can try doing.

  • Thank you, I've tried doing all of the following but I'm still not accessing the game. I'm thinking my next step would be to contact EA themselves. Is this a common problem that surfaces a lot? This is the first issue I've run into with The Sims in eight years of playing so I'm a little put off right now.

    Yeah I guess so.  I only just started using it with my Mac and haven't had any problems, but I also didn't purchase my games from them so it was a different process altogether.  Apparently a lot of people have this issue.  If that "solution" from the EA customer rep I copied/pasted didn't work, then yeah I have no idea what exactly will.   ☹️

I went to my origin "my games" tab and found the game not to be there. Origin suggested I check my EA profile to see if the game transaction processed but I don't see a record of a purchase at all. However, my email received verification and a receipt of purchase. Basically, I would just like to see how I can access the game so I can install it to my computer. 🙂
