Yeah, they show up right away after I get them.
I have bought some stuff in the online store, but I have to wait a few hours after I get my bonus points. I can purchase items while I'm in game with no problems right away though.

Now I'm just having a problem with getting bonus points. The button only shows up once for me. I can watch one video and get my 10 points, but after that it goes away for another 24 hours.

I think that's how it works. It's only there for a short time and then it goes away. One use per users and only so many users get points.

I can't really tell you how it works cause it's US/Canada only so I can't participate.

How do you get bonus simpoints?

If you are in US or Canada, and it is between I think 12am and 12pm, there will be a blue box in your sims account on the left side of the page. If you click on it, you watch a short advertisement and then you can get 10 points. You can do this 5 times a day. I have been getting 50 bonus points every days for the last month and a half it is awesome. But it also doesn't let me use my points right away either, which is what brought me to this page lol.
