I have already logged a ticket with EA and spoken with EA support who could not assist and are flagging the potential bug on their end.
Just wanted to post in case anyone else has any difficulties or has suggestions

I have only recently registered the sims 3 base game and expansions etc on the sims 3 website https://au.thesims3.com/
From my understanding and other threads on EAs forums - this should have triggered some free reward items for me to claim, AND free simpoints that would have appeared in my account details, with a big orange button.I have received the items but not the points.
I have received no way to redeem these points, and there has been no orange button. EA support believes its a glitch on their end but would love to hear thoughts.
I have attached pictures showing what has been successfully registered, what the orange button should look like and a picture showing this has not appeared for me.
Just wanted to note that from the EA support person I spoke to, the game should still be providing these rewards, the games are registered fine, the issue is the button has not appeared for me.
