sometimes if they have special seeds in the inventory that issue can happen move the seeds out of the inventory and see if that works for you

That didn't work ☹️ And I just bought her a gem cutter machine. If I click on the machine, the option to cut gems is shaded because it thinks she doesn't have any gems in her inventory, yet when I click on the gems in her inventory, the option to cut with machine comes up. I have no idea what is going on with this thing
