@niniwantstodie Please delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 user folder in Documents\Electronic Arts:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
Then test the game again. If that doesn't help, try repairing the game in Steam: choose Properties > Local Files > Manage the integrity of the game files.
If that doesn't help either, please move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save, bring up CAS, and look for the new items.
I tried them all but unfortunately, didn't work ☹️

@niniwantstodie Please try uninstalling and reinstalling Ambitions, which you can do by simply unchecking the box for the pack within Steam's list of DLC.
If that doesn't help, please open Create a Sim, choose a young-adult female, and filter CAS to show only Ambitions items: click the snowflake icon in the upper-right corner of any list of clothing items and select Ambitions. Then put the game in windowed mode and use Windows key-shift-S to take a screenshot of what you see in each category, just so I can compare to my game.
You can only attach up to three files to a post, but you can embed as many as you want within the post itself by using the Insert/edit Image button with the other formatting options.
