not sure about your 3rd party CC though if it'll work for that too
sorry i didn't really explain myself. i download off the sims resourse not the sims store. the content is in the downloads file but does not appear to be in the section of the game launcher. it worked before i installed the new patch.
did you try double-click the plumbob icon on the file to reinstall it
