kkelly_bb Please disable Advanced Rendering, which is a check box with the other graphics settings. Do so at the Main Menu, then quit to desktop before loading a save.
If that doesn't help, please list the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.
