I wanted to add some details:
-In the main Sims 3 folder, I have another folder called The Sims 3 Packs, which is where the individual pack folders are
-The folders for the packs are all called something like "EP01", which I'm assuming is the number of the expansion pack
-I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything
-So far the only pack that's been installed using an external installer is Supernatural
I found the solution on my own actually, so no need to reply to this

@skybug040 As said before, this isn't an actual problem; it's just how the game data is organized now.
If you're having trouble actually loading any of your content in-game, please let me know what's not showing up.

i have a mac so i have the regular sims 3 and the sims 3 64 bit. on the regular sims 3 when i try and open it , it just keeps saying “unknown error occurred”. and for the 64 bit it lets me open it until the launcher and when i press the play button it doesn’t let me open the game either. and i’ve watched youtube videos to fix the “unknown error occurred” and i try and follow the steps but once it comes to the expansion packs part they don’t show up in the folder “addons” it just has the same thing like “EP01”
