@blitzbunni Are you getting an error when trying to install the packs, or are they just stuck? I ask because seeing an error is quite common right now:
Also, you can reinstall Origin if you want:
You can have both it and the EA App installed on your computer at the same time; you just can't run both at the same time. If you get an error when trying to open Origin, restart your computer, or open the Task Manager and kill the EABackgroundService.exe.
- 3 years ago@puzzlezaddict Hi, I am having the same problem as person above. When I open Sims 3 in Origin the expansions tab won't even show and on the EA App they're stuck and greyed out saying "installing" but only Generations has actually installed (along with the base game) no error message for me

@Mirazce and @FrenchFancyxo For the inability to download your expansion and stuff packs, please use this thread:
For the pack details not showing in your Origin library, please use this thread:
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Client-Web-Technical/Sims-3-download-issues/td-p/11937724
Both are known issues and are on the EA end, meaning there's nothing you can do except wait for EA to fix it. I still hope that happens soon.
Since this thread is somewhat redundant, I'll lock it here. For anyone else reading this, please use the above threads.

I'm also having the same issue. Same as above, they're all blocked saying 'installing' but clearly not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Origin as well as the base game. It does the base game fine but not the expansions it seems... why is this launcher such GARBAGE?
It literally sounds like they made everyone switch and it can't even do it's job. I'm not playing the base game without all the expansions I spent money on, it's so unfair.
