Sims 3 freezing entire screen (Mac)
I Just downloaded sims 3 to my 2020 MacBook Air with the m1 chip. It runs perfectly for about 5 minutes, then my whole screen freezes up and I cant do anything. I can still hear the audio in the back...

@joshysven143 It's with the other graphics settings, in the upper right corner. It's called "screen refresh rate."
When I click that in only gives me the option of "default".
@joshysven143 Okay, then it's not picking up the setting in options.ini even after you changed it. That's unfortunate, but not a surprise: I haven't been able to get it to work on my (Intel) Mac either.
If switching to windowed mode doesn't help, please let me know what version of Big Sur you're running. It should show in About This Mac.
Im using version 11.2.3
So far changing the 0 to a 60 has worked but I will let you know if anything happens.
