@AlastarXD It's best to only download 4-6 items at a time, the store and launcher can't really handle much more than that at once. After the first batch is downloaded, you can move on to the next one; the same goes for installing through the launcher. Worlds should be downloaded and installed on their own, not in a batch with anything else.
At this point, you probably need to clear your browser caches, including the one for Explorer. Whether you use IE going forward or not, it's involved with several TS3 functions behind the scenes, and clearing its cache is a good troubleshooting step for any game issue that involves an internet connection. Be sure to uncheck the box to preserve data for favorites.

Firefox really is the best option for downloading store content. I've never had a problem with it. Other players have given up trying to make Chrome or Safari work with TS3 store downloads entirely. When it prompts you to select an app to open the downloads, you can choose the TS3 icon, and the launcher should open after a few seconds.
Ok that makes sence, so I downloaded and tried it with foxfire but when it asks "launch application" and I select sims3 I get an error message from "foxfire.exe" that says "this file does not have an app associated with it for preforming this action. Please install an app or, if one 8s already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page"

@AlastarXD Alright, I just tried it on my mac, with Firefox. I went to my purchase history and then clicked directly on the Download button under the image of one of the items, and I got a pop-up asking me to select the app to open the download (see attached image). After clicking on the highlighted choice, my launcher opened after about five seconds and downloaded the item. However, when I checked a couple of boxes and clicked the Download button above the listed items, Firefox prevented some pop-up windows from showing (something about my preferences), and nothing downloaded.
Anyway, try downloading just one item, either from the button under its image in Purchase History, or directly from that item's page (there should be a blue Download button on the right of the screen).
