Sims 3 launcher crashes on startup
So I've had the sims 3 for a almost a year now and it's been working fine up until now. It always ran smoothly even with cc and the eps and the one sp that I had installed. I stopped playing for a while to catch up with my school work and I only just recently started playing again after my mom completely reset our computer. So i reinstalled my games using the discs and I downloaded some store content, but every time I open the launcher it totally freezes. The play button and the edges of the welcome screen get grayed out and the loading mouse circle pops up. If I try to click anywhere on the launcher, the window will say it's not responding and the screen will either turn black and the launcher will close after awhile or I'll have to completely shut down my computer. I tried playing it once last night and it actually worked, but once I finished playing, the launcher would stop working again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything via Origin and the discs, I've updated origin, but idk what else to do please help.
