Hello! Has anyone else had trouble trying to launch Sims 3 on the new mac Os Monterey? I tried to launch it and all it did was shut down. I tried to repair the game hoping the would work too but the game did the same thing. Is there a solution to this?
Oop, never mind! I got it to work! All i had to do was shut down my computer and turn it back on! Sorry about that, but also thank you!
@lilkia311 Sims 3 should run in Monterey, but it's possible that the game has trouble on certain hardware configurations. So please list the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.
Please also move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether the game loads properly this time.

Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)
Processor: 2 GHz Quad-Corew intel core i5
Memory: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB
