Sims 3 Seasons crashes to desktop on PC, with issues SIMILAR TO the already reported Mac issues.
I've noticed a lot of Mac players complaining about only getting 5-10 minutes of gameplay in the Sims 3: Seasons, but I'd like to clarify that not only Mac players have this issue!
I run The Sims 3 on a PC. My OS is Windows 8. My system more than meets the required specs to run the game, and I have had absolutely no issues running any of the other expansions (I own and have installed all EPs for the Sims 3) until Seasons was released. I will get ten minutes as an absolute maximum of gameplay before the game crashes to desktop. What's even more annoying is the fact that when it crashes, I can't close the process as you can not click out of the window when it crashes, nor can you even see the Task Manager. As a result, every time I've tried to fix this game myself and see if the problem still persists, I need to restart my computer before I can use it again at its full functionality.
I know that EA is already aware of this problem for Mac, but I'd like to clarify that this problem also exists with PC users, and in case this hasn't yet been addressed by a PC user, I'd like to be the one to do so in order for a patch to be released for PC gamers with this issue.
ETA: EA, please do not edit this post. This post is to do with PC, and -not- Mac computers. I will be changing the original thread title back to the way it was.

As of right now, my game has not crashed since the 1.47 update. I will mark this as solved, and would recommend that everyone else create their own threads for their specific issues. Good luck to you all!
